When the CNC horizontal lathe is used for a long time, it is easy to turn the workpiece because of the influence of various factors, so that the outer part or the end face of the workpiece appears corrugated phenomenon. For example, the ripples on the surface of part of the workpiece are in spiral shape, and the ripples on the surface of part of the workpiece are disorderly and can not find any rules; Or part of the surface of the corrugated equidistant, part of the surface of the corrugated and the axis of the workpiece perpendicular, part of the surface of the corrugated shape and the axis of the workpiece parallel. If we analyze the ripples on the outer circle or the end surface of these workpieces, we can find that there are many reasons for the formation of ripples. However, any cause caused by the outer part of the workpiece or end face corrugated will affect the production quality and performance of the workpiece. Therefore, we must analyze the cause of corrugation on the workpiece surface, and take specific measures to deal with it. The following are two reasons for the formation of two kinds of workpiece ripples:
1. Influence of spindle clearance
The spindle clearance causes the workpiece to be unfixed and the position of the workpiece changes during processing, which leads to uneven machining surface and poor finish. However, the corrugations caused by the spindle clearance are uneven and random on the surface, and there are few corrugations on the surface of the workpiece processed by the apex. This is because the apex action eliminates the clearance. There are also fluctuations in processing end faces.
2. Influence of transmission rack
CNC horizontal lathe in the processing of the axial surface, the normal situation is that the entire axial surface corrugated uniform bright, when the processing and assembly of the transmission rack abnormal, it will lead to processing surface problems, the typical phenomenon is uniform bamboo, is every fixed distance there is a knife pattern disorder, it looks like a section of a section. Its formation mechanism is caused by the bad bite of the gear and rack. Too tight and too loose lead to uneven transmission and change with the tooth shape cycle.
